aka Parallel Universe Band composed of: Jon Miller, drums, Rob Cheramy, guitar, Tony Genge, Hammond B3, and Monik Nordine, saxes.  Bringing a strong sense of swing and a wide range of musical expression and spontaneity to both original compositions and classics in the vein of organ jazz luminaries Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff and Larry Goldings, the Quartet is looking forward to delighting audiences in Port Alberni again this fall.

Jon Miller: McGill University Jazz Programme graduate and powerhouse drummer Jon Miller spent the 90's living in Montreal, Amsterdam and Philadelphia playing clubs, festivals and in studios throughout Eastern Canada and in Philadelphia, New York, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Monte Carlo with renowned artists including Charlie Hunter and members of the Sun Ra Arkestra. Along with writing for and leading his quartet Miller held the drum chair for the Victoria Jazz Orchestra from 2013 to 2016, performing with many guest artists including Alan Matheson, Mike Allen, Mike Herriot and Andrew Homzy.
