Alberni Valley Employment Centre has been delivering employment services funded by the Government of Canada and Province of British Columbia since 2007. We help job seekers to find & maintain employment, make important career and training decisions and much more – all at no charge!

All job seekers are welcome to use AVEC's Resource Centre, which is fully staffed and equipped to provide access to a multitude of self-serve resources, and Employment Counsellors are available to help eligible clients participate in a variety of government funded services.

Employers too, are welcome to take advantage of services such as Wage Subsidy and free online job postings to help you find and keep the workforce you need.
