'I quit my job, moved out of my house and into my van. I drove out to Vancouver in December 2015 to record this split with Bryan Michael. We’d agreed to each cover one of another’s songs, and then write one more together of our own. Four days later, we had ourselves a DIY folk/bluegrass split brought together through $2.95 breakfast, self-serve coffee, discount microphone rentals, and raiding liquor cabinets. Breakfast at Bon's provides that same comfort and satisfaction as sitting down at your favourite all-day breakfast joint to chase away the whiskey hangover.'
