Sat, Aug 6th  , 8-10pm, Concert – Scotland’s Ewan Macintyre – Folk, Soul, Swing with a Celtic feel – Fiddle & Mandolin

Album Tour 2016 - “You Probably Look Better Naked Anyway”  #3 in the National Folk/ Roots Charts of Canada.

Raised on a cocktail of Soul, Swing, Classical Indian dance and some Gaidhlig song to boot.  Ewan has spent the last year and a half travelling back and forth between Scotland and Canada where he recently recorded his first solo album in Montreal, QC. The album is a collection of songs written while hitch hiking around Canada's east coast and then staying in a cabin in the woods for several months.. Featuring 10 guest musicians from various parts of Canada, Ireland, England and France, this project is the seed for a continuation of international, cross cultural collaborations, blending genres and smashing borders. Ewan is a magnet for amazing musicians and his live show will often include fiddles, dobros, trumpets and double basses. His sets are a combination of heartfelt ballads, traditional tunes and spots of audience participation.
