Drawn by the idea of shifting and shaping lyrics into a song that meanders its way from the listener’s ear straight to their heart, Jordan Dean undoubtedly has a knack for delivering his story in the most honest, creative way possible. Born in British Columbia, Canada, Jordan has settled himself amongst the roots/country world and is fitting in nicely. Jordan’s relentless dedication to music and writing has landed performances at the Calgary Stampede, Keloha Festival, Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Fest, as well as opening for many artists including Tim Hicks & Chad Brownlee. 2015 Lake Country Has Talent Songwriter’s contest winner, Jordan’s lyricism does not cut any corners and is crafted with true honesty. Much of this he believes is owed to a long line of influences including some of the industry’s finest storytellers such as Johnny Cash, Corb Lund and Jason Isbell. A truly unique sound has proven Jordan has found his niche in the industry, and doesn’t have any plans on leaving. His debut record (recorded with Mark Greenhalgh of Misty Mountain sound) is available now in hard copy as well as on iTunes and all other online retailers.

Between playing theatres, bars, wineries, weddings and music festivals, Jordan’s element is being on a stage portraying his story through his wittily crafted lyrics. The brush train rockabilly made famous by Johnny Cash, the sounds of Bakersfield, the fiddle and steel found in today’s Texas/Red Dirt music, authentic Canadian poetry, and heart wrenching waltz-timed ballads are what make up Jordan’s sound. With a unique roots country sound, Jordan’s music sets itself into a genre of its own. Live shows are a way to truly learn what an artist is all about, many consider Jordan’s live performance one of his strongest suits.
