The best way we have found to describe the show is “A narrated performance of selected Bob Dylan songs”. The show is not just a concert, but an attempt to engage the audience in the life of Dylan during his different stages of development. It includes a beautiful mix of stories, anecdotes and historical context written and read by harmonica-wizard, writer and raconteur, Mick Sherlock, interwoven with familiar and not-so-familiar Dylan tunes. The songs are performed by three members of “The Complete Unknowns”: Tom Neville (violin, guitar, bass and vocals), Mick Sherlock (harmonica and vocals) and Mark Wonneck (guitar and vocals).
Members of The Complete Unknowns are really not that unknown and they all hail from the Qualicum Beach area. These performing and recording veterans include: singer-songwriter Mark Wonneck (solo performer and The Douglas Brothers) Guitar/Vocals; multi-instrumentalist Tom Neville (The Paperboys, Fear of Drinking, Joelle Rabu) Guitar/Violin/Bass/Vocals; writer and harmonica wizard Mick Sherlock (In Spite of Ourselves, Still Crazy, The Taj Mahal/Ry Cooder Tribute, Cosmic American Music) Harmonica/Vocals/Readings.
