The event will feature easy listening and dancing to pop, rock and blues songs from its new album of cover tunes from the 1970s to today. s up to today. The event will also feature a set that includes modern arrangements of some traditional blues and gospel based music, all featuring great harmonica, guitars and drums.
BIO
Doctor Bones Project is a Greater Victoria, BC blues fusion band, with a repertoire of songs including blues, pop, rock, country, and Americana traditionals. The band's been going since 2008, playing our originals as well as cover tunes from Steven Stills, Paul Simon, Steve Miller, John Prine, Hoyt Axton, Robert Plant, Bonnie Raitt, Ashley Cleveland, Mike Farris and Stevie Wonder. We're experienced playing large and small concerts, including fairs and festivals, summer markets, private functions, community events, prisons, charity fundraisers, live music bars and clubs. Audiences like our stage presence, listener interaction, clear vocals and arrangements, and pleasant sound levels conducive to dancing as well as easy listening.
