Non-profit organization Futurpreneur BC will be in Port Alberni on September 25th and 26th at the Best Western Barclay hotel to host #OwnersWanted, a newly designed and free program for those interested in buying or selling a small business. The program is free and dinner will be provided.

Local will learn how to start a small business, sell their business or potentially how to buy one. They will learn how to:

- Find a viable business that may interest them

- Approach and appeal to business owners

- Put a deal together, practice negotiating and due diligence

- Close the deal in a mock negotiation process and

- Structure and obtain the necessary funding

Futurpreneur has helped almost 19,000 Canadian entrepreneurs since inception. Given that 98% of the Canadian market is made up of small businesses, economic diversification within every region, including across BC, is extremely important to the organization.
