Folk musicians Spencer Hiemstra and Aaron Wylder are teaming up and taking their songs across Vancouver Island. Bringing their original music and captivating stories, their performance will leave you loving our island more than when you came.

Spencer Hiemstra
Spencer Hiemstra is a folk singer-songwriter based on Vancouver Island. His thought provoking lyrics tell stories that take inspiration from geography and the endless ocean while always finding a way to be encouraging. Pairing our daily lives with the beauty of our coast his songs are sung to bring joy and hope. Spending much of his time playing in local rock bands his new music is an opportunity to tell stories and share experiences. Spencer’s debut album, “WILDLIFE” was released on December 11, 2020 and his single “Kindness” was released on July 22, 2022. He has a new single “Ordinary People” being released on January 6, 2023.

Aaron Wylder
Born and raised in the Cayman Islands, Aaron Wylder is a 25 year old Canadian singer songwriter. Now based out of Victoria, British Columbia, he can be found most often with a guitar in his hands. He is motivated by the prospect of creating resonating songs.
