Join us at 11th Avenue Park (adjacent to our community office at 2579 10th Ave) on Saturday, August 6, 2022, to release a butterfly for fun or in memory of a loved one.

Our annual Butterfly Effect is a heartwarming family event that touches the lives of everyone in the Alberni Valley.
The event is family friendly and includes kids' activities, live music, food and more!

Our event starts at noon and ends at 2:30pm, with the release at 1pm.
(Any unclaimed butterflies will be released at that time.)

Purchase a butterfly for release at the event online here, or through our community office, for $25 each.
Please note only 200 butterflies are available for purchase this year, first come first serve.
