We will be performing selections from my new album recorded with Miles and coming out in March. We have engagements confirmed at Frankie’s, Hermann’s, Luis Porretta’s new venue in Nanaimo, the Simonholt, as well as in Calgary at the Attic, and Toronto at the Rex.
My 2019 first album, "the Night We Couldn’t Say Good Night”, was released in 2019 and did very well in the American jazz press, receiving positive reviews and coverage from JazzTimes Magazine, JAZZIZ Magazine, JazzWeekly, Couleurs Jazz France, many international blogs. There are lots of great press quotes to use in promotions. And earlier this year, I actually won the 2021 JazzTimes’ Readers’ Poll for best female jazz vocalist! Despite I late start in this career about 2011 when I recovered from cancer, I have now performed at many leading jazz venues and festivals in Canada; this fall performed at top jazz venues in London, Istanbul, as well as in Spain and Germany.
