Well it’s that time or year and as the hustle and bustle of the holiday approaches, the Magic Cottage opens to offer you a distinctive shopping experience. Now in their 9th year, the Magic Cottage Craft & Gift Sale has earned a reputation for embracing the finer things in life such as artisan foods, one-of-a-kind gifts and handcrafted items. Local artisans have been preparing all year for this magical holiday event to ensure a multitude of gift giving treasures are available to you.

The Magic Cottage offers you a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can browse at your leisure and enjoy your holiday gift exploration. Hot apple cider and fresh baked scones are available (at no charge) to keep your tummy cozy too. Joining the Cottage this year are Cowichan Bay Soapworks and C’est la la artwork and cards. Old favourites return with Sugar Shak sweets for your sweetie, and tasty treats to fill your tummy, GypsyWolf fashion and accessories and Studio-Terrafemina Pottery. You’ll also find lots of new jewellery designs, stained glass, needlework, fabric craft, plus Christmas gifts and trimmings galore. There’s a wonderful assortment of quality gifts, handcrafted by local artisans, reasonably priced, and all wrapped up in a cozy cottage setting. As in previous years there will be a draw for a gift basket full of lovely crafts that you could win when you donate to the elementary school “Read and Feed” program.

So mark your calendars for November 19th, 20th, 26th & 27th. The Cottage is open SAT, Nov 19th (10-6) and Sun Nov 20th (10-5) and Sat, Nov 26th (10-6) and Sun, Nov 27th (10-5).
