Join us Friday, July 1 as we celebrate Canada's 149th Birthday with a day full of events, and the biggest fireworks display Sproat Lake has ever seen!

9am - Drinkwaters opens for brunch (served until 5pm)

11am – Adventure Centre Opens for Rentals (fees apply)

- Outdoor BBQ & Bar Open
- Free Guided Hike to Wiener Falls (Meet at Dellas Cafe)
- Free Face Painting for kids opens
- Lake Tour Departure on the DrinkwaterIV Tugboat (fees apply)

- Cultural Performance by the Tseshaht First Nation

- Drinkwaters patio private to VIP ticketholders (a limited amount of $25 tickets still available in Dellas Café! Includes prime patio seating for music and fireworks, and delicious dessert buffet. Canada Day food menu, drink service, and bottle service available)

- Outdoor BBQ & Bar closes

- Fireworks over Sproat Lake

GOOD TO KNOW:

  • This is an outdoor event; please wear sunscreen and stay hydrated.
  • Beach blankets and folding chairs are welcome! Outdoor seating is limited so feel free to bring your own.
  • Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property during the event
  • Security will deny entry to any persons exhibiting signs of intoxication, and reserves the right to search bags
  • Parking is limited - carpooling is encouraged
  • Guided hike to Wiener Falls is approximately 1-hour round trip, and is rated "easy." Participants should wear comfortable outdoor shoes with good support, bring a bottle of water, wear sunscreen, and be able to complete a moderate level of exercise.
