All Day Events

  • Rubbings Table: All ages and abilities. Work with artists to create a piece of take-home art.
  • Mixed Media Table: Collaborate on a series that celebrates Solstice. ages 5 yrs. to adult and Sun weavings for children five and under who can make a take-home sun.
  • Artist Demo: Tamas Zalatnai, internationally known jeweler & sculptor will be working on a repousser bronze piece that celebrates Solstice.

 

Scheduled Events

  • Saturday: 11 am and 2 pm & Sunday: 1 pm Musical Easels: Artists and Public paint a sun-themed piece on canvas while music plays. When the music stops, artists rotate one canvas and work on the adjacent piece.
  • At regular intervals throughout the weekend.
  • Life Drawing Demo: The Jane Austin group dressed in 18th century costumes will be moving freely around the area, pausing to allow artists and the public to draw or paint their images.
  • Still Life Circle: Try your hand on a still-life arrangement. Paper and drawing materials are provided.
