Solstice Arts Festival wrist bands for sale now at Rollin Art Centre. June 17-19. As part of Solstice Art Matters Society presents F.A.C.E. (Festival of Artistic & Creative Expression); 6 shows at the Capitol Theatre and street performances under the Art Rave tents. Psychedelic Shakespeare, children's improv and Surely, You Jest -a puppet show. On Stage Saturday; 2 PM New McDonalds Has A Farm-children's show 3 PM Curse of the Pharaoh's Tomb-a summertime radio play 4 PM Mad Hatter-pick of Alberni Fringe 2013 7 PM Cougar Annie-hit of 2012 Fringe 8:30 PM The Tin Box-an original one act play Sunday 3 PM William vs the World-a new show by the mad hatter The Portal Players are also presenting at 9:30 PM on Saturday-improv and on Sunday at 1 PM Story of the First People All of these shows plus the band on Friday night are open to anyone with a $20 wristband which also gets you into Days of the Arts.
