Mon, Jun 22nd , 8-10pm, Concert – Twin Peaks + Annie Becker– original raw vocals
The Twin Peaks show is comprised of mostly original music appealing to a wide variety of audience members. Besides our witty lyrics and super tight harmonies, people tell us that they really enjoy our onstage chemistry and banter. We love what we do and we have a blast; our goal is to make sure the crowd always feels included and important.  “Heavenly harmonies and - between songs - banter that can border on the hellishly humourous. Those are the peaks of listening to Twin Peaks. And listen you must!”  Gordan Sinclaire Jr., Winnipeg Free Press  http://www.youtube.com/user/TwinPeaksMusic1   facebook.com/Music.TwinPeaks
Annie Becker's show is comprised of raw vocals and soundscapes. Her original lyrics are felt right from the heart into the soul. With Annie each show is different depending on the flow of the audience and venue.  Everything from Songwriter with a guitar to Beatboxer Diva. She is a storyteller who will draw audiences into her world.   'When she sings, you listen...' – Radio-Canada International

Twin Peaks BIO:

Rich harmonies, a piano, a guitar, two ukuleles and unlimited wit are at the heart of Twin Peaks - an emerging duo that embraces roots music with undertones of country and contemporary blues. Naomi Shore and Lindsay Pratt - although very diverse in their musical histories - have successfully combined individual experiences into a unique blend of genres. It is eclectic, creative and clever. Born and raised in northern BC in the city of Fort St. John, their music reflects small town wisdom with lively humour and songs that immediately capture an audience.
Lindsay and Naomi's onstage chemistry is totally infectious. They provide their audience with the whole meal deal: undeniably catchy tunes, adorable eye candy and a good laugh. They manage to combine all of these attributes into a genuinely endearing act.
Over a span of only three years the duo have covered a lot of ground. They have released two albums, their EP Twin Peaks (2012)and their full length album Trouble (2013). Extensive touring has brought them across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba playing charming, intimate venues to large outdoor festivals. The band has had amazing opportunities for having their music played on CBC radio through various contests held on the air. In 2012 they made the top ten for CBC Radio 3’s contest Tracks on Tracks, and in 2014 the group rose to the national finals in the CBC Searchlight contest. They’ve taken home a Vancouver Island Music Award for BC Wide Artist of the Year, both the EP and the full length album have been nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Roots Duo Recording of the Year and garnered attention through their Independent Music Awards Roots/Country EP and Folk Singer/Songwriter nominations. The duo is proud to have shared the stage with acts such as Steve Brockley Band, Del Barber, and Ariana Gillis.

Annie Becker BIO:
It’s hard to believe Annie Becker is from the West Coast of Canada and not from the basement of a late 30s Jazz Club. Becker has been cloaking her audiences in a Gyp-sea of sultry soundscapes across Canada, New York, and Thailand for the past 5 years. In 2011 Annie Released her first album, ‘All About the Beez Neez,” and in 2013 was awarded, Vancouver Island Vocalist of the Year. With this New EP, ‘Back to the City,’ Annie takes us out of the City and back to that Vaudeville Cabaret. She laces Latin grooves with a taste of Rockabilly and Jazz. The music is stripped down to showcase the rawness of Becker’s Vocals. This is music you can play loud in your car.
For the past 2 summers Annie has toured all across BC. Playing such Festivals as Rifflandia, the Big Time Out, the Sunshine Music Fest, Arts Wells and Edge of the World Fest. Whether you see Annie Becker in a packed club, intimate coffeehouse, animated music festival, or bustling street corner, those who come across this jazz queen wrapped in a folk dress wearing souled shoes will no doubt walk away with a smile on their face and a melody in their head.
