Green Party of Canada leader, Elizabeth May, and Green Party of Canada candidate for Courtenay-Alberni, Glenn Sollitt, are coming to Port Alberni onSaturday, April 11 for a morning packed with FREE community-oriented activities.
Please meet them at the Starboard Grill, in the heart of Harbour Quay on the Port Alberni waterfront, for a free continental breakfast starting at 8 a.m.
At 9:10 a.m., May and Sollitt will move to the Alberni Train Station, where they will speak on issues vital to the Canadian environment and economy, including the protection of personal freedoms and a return to a truly democratic Parliament.
They’ll then board the Speeder for a trip to the McLean Mill National Historic Site, accompanied by local dignitaries. You can meet May and Sollitt at the mill for coffee and buns just after 10 a.m.
Then join them at 10:30 a.m. for a short walk to celebrate the success of a $500,000 project to create a more natural passage for salmon on Kitsuksis Creek.
