First inspired by the driving energy and beauty of Cape Breton, Scottish, and Irish fiddle, and drawn to further explore the musical culture of Quebec and Brittany-France, Jocelyn has embraced these Canadian and Celtic traditions, and delivers the music with spirited style.  From an early age, the media have called her, a Celtic sensation”.  With grace and passion, Jocelyn Pettit has ignited stages across Canada, U.S.A., Scotland, France, and Malaysia, with lively music and dance;  earned multiple award nominations;  appeared on national television and radio;  shared the stage with Scottish legends, The Battlefield Band, and performed with Irish supergroup, The Chieftains.  With accompaniment provided by Siew Wan Khoo on piano and fiddle, Joel Pettit on bodhrán, and Bob Collins on guitar, the band fuses Canadian and European folk traditions to create a style they call Blazing New-Trad Celtic.

From the West Coast of British Columbia, The Jocelyn Pettit Band is a lively quartet led by vibrant fiddler, stepdancer and singer, Jocelyn Pettit
