Now's your chance to get in on the next Hospice Training Course intake!Hospice Training Course to run October 1 to November 6!12 sessions held Thursday and Friday mornings for 6 weeks.
Training covers a variety of hospice palliative care topics, including stages of life-limiting illnesses and transition to hospice palliative care; physiological and psychosocial pain; hopes and fears; spiritual tasks; and the dying and bereavement process. Throughout the course there is an emphasis on communication skills and self care for the trainee. 
Accompanying the seriously ill and their families on this very personal and sacred journey through illness, death and bereavement is challenging and very rewarding. Volunteers find they grow personally and spiritually both in understanding and compassion.
