Food & Filosophy Hosts Poetry Evening on March 2

Friends, countrymen. Lend me your ears. I come to invite you all to a special Poetry Evening at Dolce Vita on March 2nd sponsored by Food and Filosophy. Originally this group met at Abbeyfield House, for many years. When I joined the choir, I found myself rushing from this group to attend Wednesday choir practices. With a heavy heart, I had to make the decision of belonging to the Choir group.
I thank all those who attended this poetry group, and I now have the honour of inviting you all to this special evening at Abbeyfield. Here are some of the people who were members of the Poetry Club: Shelly Penner, Dolly McCrea, David Potter, Nancy Wilmot, Chris Finlayson,
Darren Geddes, Sylvia Springer, Jack Granneman, Ken Whiteman. There were many others who came at one time or another.
When I found that Food and Filosophy was interested in this programme, I go in touch with some of these people, and they have agreed to help Food and Filosophy make a contribution to our Arts Community.
This gathering is not restricted to those people who were invited. This is our community, and I know that you will want to take part in joining your voices to the others. On behalf of Food and Filosophy, we thank you for taking part, and hope that there will always be a special place for The Arts at our meetings.

We begin with Food at 5:30, and this will be following by  the voices of our citizens! I am already thinking of an Evening of Shakespeare! Are you interested?
