A unique opportunity to catch a solo acoustic performance of a multi award winning Canadian blues icon, “home” for the holidays !

Hot off the heels of his electrifying performance at the Nanaimo Summertime Blues Festival last August, acclaimed Montreal Blues-Rocker Paul DesLauriers returns to Vancouver Island for an exclusive and intimate solo acoustic show in Port Alberni. Undeniably part of the cream of Canadian blues guitarists, in Janurary 2017 Paul and his Band won 4 Maple Blues Awards (Canada’s national Blues awards program, recognizing outstanding performance in the field), including Entertainer of the Year and Electric Act of the Year. One year earlier, his group won 2nd place among 119 bands at the prestigious International Blues Challenge (the largest gathering of blues artists in the world held annually in Memphis, Tennessee). He also took home two Maple Blues Awards in 2014 for Guitarist of the Year and Acoustic Act of the Year. He is currently nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Electric Act of the Year and Guitarist of the Year at the Maple Blues Awards to be held in Toronto on January 15th 2018.  photo credit: Frank Muggianu
